FEBRUARY PHOTO
Wisconsin has two seasons: "Winter and Rough Sledding." February should be in the season of winter. But this year the season of rough sledding has stuck its nose right smack dab in the middle of winter. It is hard to believe the warm weather. Eager ice fishermen are still falling through the thin ice. There will be a lot of trucks, snowmobiles and shanties in the lakes come next spring!! I am not an ice fisherman, but I am eager for winter to show its face too. I have a new camera, Canon 5D Mark II, and I am chomping at the bit to make some snow pictures. Maybe I will have to go “up north,” like to Canada.
BTW, there is another way of naming Wisconsin seasons: Winter and Road Construction. But that’s another story. |
